Case Study 3 - Field of Screams

Field of Screams
For my third case study I watched a POV of various attractions within the Field of Screams. Specifically the version in 2020.
The purpose of this attraction is to scare you through the many different rides and walkthroughs they have.

There are many separate experiences within this one land. The first POV I watched was the hayride. It went through barns and a lot of different machine controlled scares. They had many in person scare actors which made the ride feel more alive and unique. The ride eventually went into a kind of facility where many of the same type of scares were implemented.

There really isn't a story being told. If anything there might be an underlying story with the various locations and costumes.

The main theme of this land is horror. Every locations is trying to scare you through different methods.
The market for this experience is the fact they offer the scaring around Halloween time. People come to be scared and see the different immersive locations within the land.
The revenue streams are probably buying the tickets (possibly an entire experience package) and tickets for specific attractions within the land. They will probably have some merchandising and parking fees as well.
My estimated throughput would be several hundred per hour

I would improve this experience by adding different ways to scare people. The POV seemed like they had 2 main ways to scare you, machines, and people. Possibly finding a new way to scare you could bring in more people and cause the land to stand out.
This is not an educational experience.
